RMA is the national trade association for the elastomer products industry. Its members include companies that manufacture various elastomer products, including tires, hoses, belts, seals, molded & extruded goods, and other finished elastomer products. RMA members employ over 120,000 workers and account for more than $21 billion in annual sales. RMA activities are organized under two business groups: the Tire Group and the Elastomer Products Group (EPG). The Tire Group includes as corporate members, tire manufacturers and retread & repair material(s) suppliers. The Elastomer Products Group includes as corporate members, manufacturers of non-tire elastomer products (both thermoset & thermoplastic) and suppliers of raw materials, machinery, and testing services to the elastomer products industry. The use of and demand for elastomer products is pervasive in today's consumer and industrial economies. Safe, reliable and essential elastomer products are an intrinsic asset in modern life. As such, the RMA is proud of its 85 year history of service to this industry.
